Skiing on Aspen Mountain. All the mountains here are terrific, but if I have to pick a favorite, it’s Ajax. Beautiful, open runs, so many choices and not too much traffic. I love every run. aspensnowmass.com

Smuggler Racquet Club. Once the snow is gone, I play tennis every day. Smuggler Racquet Club has fabulous new courts. 970-925-8216

Wienerstube Restaurant. I’m at the Wienerstube almost every day for breakfast. It’s a traditional Austrian restaurant, with the best café Vienna (with real whipped cream on top), just like in Austria. wienerstube.com

Windsurfing on Ruedi Reservoir (or in Maui!). Ruedi is great because it presents different challenges, such as deflected winds from the mountains. The water heats well because it has fine silt, which absorbs the sun’s rays.

Aspen History 101. The Aspen Historical Society presents fun, interactive discussions on the history of our town. I’ve been invited to participate several times. aspenhistorysociety.com

Biking. There are tons of great paths around Aspen for cycling and mountain biking. I have a custom bike that was made by a friend near Milan the year Hawaii became our 50th state; it’s painted with the American flag. I enjoy riding it on the Rio Grande Trail.

Coming to work every day at Sport Obermeyer. I love my work—we make fun stuff! It continues to present exciting challenges and opportunities. obermeyer.com

Swimming. In the summer, I swim a half mile every day in the solar-heated pool at Obermeyer headquarters. In the winter months, I enjoy the saline pool at Aspen Meadows Resort. Swimming is a weightless exercise that’s great for the body and mind. dolce-aspen-hotel.com

Aspen Ideas Festival. This is a spectacular event that attracts some of the greatest minds from around the world. aifestival.org

The Magic of Skiing Workshop with Thomas Crum. Thomas takes a holistic approach to skiing, focusing on coordination of body and mind so you can enjoy the sport in a centered and peaceful way, as one with the mountain. magicofskiing.com
