The fundamental book on alpine life hit coffee tables this fall.
The dining room table spread in Aerin Lauder’s home.
Aerin Lauder, founder and creative director of AERIN, knows how to set a proper table. The lifestyle mogul and part-time Aspenite feels such a connection to the old Ute City, she came out with a tome this fall dedicated to all things Aspen Style ($85, Assouline, assouline.com/aspen-style). Lauder writes, “I have traveled to many ski destinations, but no place has mesmerized me the way Aspen has.” The coffee table book features photography of Aspen life, from sports to wildlife to interiors, entertaining and our singular sense of style. Readers of Aspen Peak may spot a few familiar images lifted from the fashion pages of this magazine.
