The Swiss fashion house is opening a seasonal outpost in Aspen this summer.
The pre-fall collection inspired by Alexander Girard
Sleek campaigns shot by fashion world bad-boy Steven Klein, and elegant, well cut staples come to mind when we think of Akris. Albert Kriemler has been the creative director since 2004, pioneering new techniques and bringing the storied the house to its modern position.

On June 4 the first Aspen outpost will open next to the Aspen Art Museum (625 E Hyman Ave.). The store will celebrate the new pre-fall collection collaboration with midcentury artist Alexander Girard featuring specialty items and furniture from the Girard line at Vitra.
Akris created an exclusive handbag just for the Aspen summer installation: a hammered leather Ai bag in bronze metallic.
See you on Hyman Ave. this summer!
