Craft Cocktails With Woody Creek Distillers

| June 4, 2013 | Home Page

Aspen has many claims to fame, yet its newest, the largest craft distillery in Colorado, makes its summer debut just in time for the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen. Located in Basalt, Woody Creek Distillers (WCD) produces handcrafted vodka (culled from organic potatoes grown in WCD’s nearby Woody Creek ranch), and its sophisticated tasting room and distillery features an outdoor patio, ideal for summer sips. As if further enticement is necessary, The Little Nell offers a new fly-fishing tour that ends at the distillery, while Blazing Adventures has launched a rafting trip to WCD, aptly named “Whiskey River.” And for you foodies attending the Food & Wine Classic (June 14-16), WCD can be found in the Grand Tasting, pouring its signature potato vodka in seasonal, specialty cocktails. Cheers!
