Aspen's St. Regis has a variety of events on New Year's day, including a buffet spread at the ski resort's Velvet Buck (reservations are recommended for the two holiday seatings at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.), a mountain cocktail social starting at 5 p.m. and running through 2 a.m. with dj performances, and two fireworks show at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. The festivities don't stop there though, the Velvet Buck is offering a buffet spread of breakfast items the morning after New Year's. The Grey Lady will be celebrating New Year's twice: First, with two dinner seatings between 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. And second, with a Château D'Esclans after party that features rosé and champagne from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. So, enjoy a four-course meal, featuring oysters and caviar, scallops and pork belly, Colorado lamb osso bucco, vanilla panna cotta with fresh berries, and a glass of Whispering Angel, before dancing the night away at the Grey Lady. 305 S.
