This weekend marks the inaugural Aspen Peak magazine Ski Fashion preview, with more than 20 models showcasing 39 looks in total throughout the weekend. Winter ski fashion will be celebrated with events held Friday, September 27, and Saturday, September 28. Participating brands will showcase a sneak peek of their 2013-14 winter collections, including Mountain Force, Sportalm, Toni Sailer, and Skea.
On Friday, Sept. 27, from 7-9 p.m., an exclusive dinner will be held at the Chefs Club by FOOD&WINE restaurant, located at the St. Regis Aspen, with proceeds benefiting AspenFilm. Held over the same weekend as Aspen Filmfest, Aspen locals, visitors, and philanthropists will be treated to a cocktail hour with a specialty Woody Creek Distillers craft cocktail, “The Fall Line,” by Chefs Club’s Executive Bar Manager Anthony Bohlinger. The reception will be followed by a three-course dinner prepared by Executive Chef Didier Elena and Chef Chris Szyjka and paired with Carte Blanche wines. A live fashion show will be staged during the evening with the aforementioned brands. Tickets are $195, inclusive of tax and gratuity.
On Saturday, Sept. 28, from 3-5 p.m., Aspen Peak will host a ski fashion show in the outdoor courtyard of the St. Regis, with looks by MountainForce, SportAlm, Toni Sailer, and Skea. DJ Nate Berkel will be spinning tunes, while Aspen Peak Editor-in-Chief Erin Lentz and Emmy Award-winning producer Oliver Sharpe emcee the event. The show is open and free to the public, and signature Woody Creek Distillers cocktails will be served. Come celebrate what’s expected to be a bountiful, beautiful winter in Aspen!
